IT Analyst and Tester (6 months contract) - Otopeni

Responsabilitati:

Role description

Responsible in each test cycle for identifying and defining the required tests, monitoring detailed testing progress and results and evaluating the overall quality as a result of testing activities. The role carries the responsibility for appropriately verification and validation tasks as regard the IT subsystem by fulfilling the needs of various internal and external stakeholders.
In addition, the IT Test Analyst is responsible for defining the test approach at the system level (E2E and integration tests) and ensuring its successful implementation. The role involves identifying the appropriate techniques, tools and guidelines to implement the required tests and to give guidance on the corresponding resource requirements for the test effort.

Key responsibilities:
- Analysis of System Design and Requirements;
- Definition and coordination of the appropriate IT test environments as built-in System application element;
- Preparation and execution of the system integration tests, including definition and documentation of test strategies, plans, procedures and practices;
- Derive operational based test cases out of Use Cases and functional scenarios;
- Definition of Operational Scenario based cases (E2E). Elaborate requirements- test cases traceability matrix;
- Selection of appropriate test methods. Coordinate implementation;
- Risk analysis on planned and executed tests;
- Identification and definition of the testing sequence; perform Test Readiness Reviews;
- Problem ticketing administration and fault coordination;
- Management of subsystem deliveries: revision, installation, ratification, registration under Configuration Management tool;
- Analysis for the need of simulators and potentially, their development;
- IT tests platform expansion and customization. Definition of HW & SW needs in terms of software and hardware;
- Definition of test metrics, monitoring and reporting testing progress. Meet test results expectations and schedule;
- Manage and solve out technical and administrative constraints. Implement and coordinate corrective /preventive applications;
- Support System Engineering in performing Subsystem reviews and pass quality gates.

Cerinte:

Master university degree - technical fields (Telecommunication and Electronics, Automations or Computers Science);
- 5+ years experience in Integration, Validation and Qualification area or System Engineering;
- Test experience in large project/program;
- Experience in management/team leadership;
- Technical background in software development desirable;
- Certified Tester is a plus (ISTQB).

Essential:
- Proven experience of testing complex system interfaces;
- Experience of testing using an automated test tool as Win Runner, Load Runner or similar for performance and load;
- Ability to analyze requirements specification for large system;
- Knowledge of Software Test Methods and Software Development Life Cycle;
- knowledge of: Rational Test Suite or similar, SOA, RUP, J2EE, SQL Database
Unix, Windows, Bea Weblogic.

Good to have:
- Experience in testing of Command and Control and Risk Analysis solution;
- Experience in testing of System Management solution (CISCO Works, HP OM, NNMi, etc);
- Quality Assurance methodologies (TQM, CMMI), Software Test Methods;
- Experience as a developer of large SOA Applications.
Tools:
Hands on experience desirable for the following tools:
- Telelogic Doors;
- IBM Rational (Clearcase, Clearquest, Manual Tester);
- Sparx Enterprise Architect (UML analysis design and testing tool).
