ME Process Engineer (Iasi)

Adecco recruits for its client, a multinational company in the automotive industry, a ME Process Engineer based in Iasi.

Main Responsibilities:

1. New product industrialization
To define the best solutions to launch the new applications in production while respecting MSD targets: Quality insurance, Efficiency, FTQ level, Cycle time, Cost objective, Capacity requirement, Robustness of the equipments, Lean manufacturing organization of the production.
To find the best suppliers for the best applications and for the best results: to be able to analyse the competence of a supplier and its capability to answer successfully to company’s problem.
To define with supplier the most adapted equipment (capability, cost, robustness, efficiency, simplicity).
To manage a multi-supplier and multi-cultural project (to adapt is vision to the globality of the project and to adapt its project management to the suppliers in order to obtain the best results).
To respect the target dates of the project.
To integer project success required key members in the project: process specialist, ME Phase 3, maintenance technicians, production members, plant facilities responsibles etc.
To manage the installation of the equipment on production plant and to qualify its correct functioning.
To participate and to support the PPAP batches.
To support the production ramp-up of the equipment.

2. Production equipments performance improvement
To identify the production objective (in the MSD).
To be able to analyse the performance of an existing production equipment (FTQ, Cycle time, OE, MTBF, changeover time,…).
To be able to analyse a problem, to propose an action plan, to apply its action plan, to measure the benefit of his action plan and to communicate to the reults to the production interlocutors.

Carreer potential evolution
To manage more important projects (global assembly or test line) and to integer member in his team to be able to cover the entire production line manufacturing.

Cerinte:

Skills and Educational qualifications (required):

Education / Diploma: Mechanical engineer or equivalent
Experience as Mechanical Engineer at least 4-5 years in automotive field
Fluent in English
Demonstrated ability to manage and participate in teamwork, plus efficient communications skills
Ability for adaptation to multicultural environment
Lean manufacturing basis knowledge.
Availability to relocation in Iasi.
